In representative testing devices, the frequency at which a red LED is gradually decreased from a 60Hz flicker until it can distinguish "flicker" is referred to as the flicker value. Generally, when a person is fatigued, the flicker value decreases. This value varies from person to person and also with age, so it cannot be used to evaluate fatigue in absolute terms; however, it can be used to assess fatigue in relative terms, such as before and after work. This judgment management system can assess mental and physical fatigue. Compared to other products, the testing time is shorter, allowing tests to be completed in about 1 minute, which is roughly 1/10 of the time. Data can be recorded on an SD card, enabling the recording of test data for multiple individuals (in CSV format).
